What BeeBox Save does
BeeBox Save lets you right-click a webpage image, choose JPG, PNG, or WebP, and save the converted image through Chrome. The image is decoded, converted, and re-encoded locally in your browser.
Information we collect
BeeBox Save does not collect personal information, browsing history, image contents, image metadata, analytics identifiers, or account data. It does not require an account, use tracking, use cookies, show advertisements, inject affiliate links, sell data, or transfer data for advertising.
Image processing and network behavior
BeeBox Save does not upload images to BeeBoxLab or operate a server-side image-processing service. When you request a conversion, the extension accesses the specific image URL selected by you so Chrome can fetch and decode that image locally. Browser or website restrictions may prevent some images from being fetched or decoded. The conversion result is passed to Chrome's local download flow.
Permissions
- contextMenus: provides the BeeBox Save right-click image conversion menu.
- downloads: saves the locally converted image through Chrome's download flow.
- Host access: accesses the specific user-selected image URL so it can be fetched and converted locally. BeeBox Save does not monitor page-wide browsing activity.
Data sharing and remote code
BeeBox Save does not share or sell user data. It does not load remote executable code, use analytics or telemetry, or send image data to an external service.
Metadata
Image metadata such as EXIF or GPS information may be removed during conversion. BeeBox Save does not promise metadata preservation.
Changes to this policy
If the product's data practices change, BeeBoxLab will update this page and its effective date before those changes apply.
